Career Women is an initiative from the Economics and Services department of the HES-SO. Its main mission is to provide female students and graduates of HES-SO with practical tools to enhance their career opportunities. Free workshops are organized every year.

Altissia is an e-learning platform that provides access to professional content in 25 languages. You can ask an access until 26.02.25

Free online English courses are available. These courses have been created by experienced teacher to meet the needs of HES-SO Master students. They focus on conversation, allowing you to actively practice English. Two levels are offered, intermediate and advanced, Tuesday and Thursday at the end of the day (5:30-7:00 PM, 90 minutes).

The courses will take place from 04.03.25 to 29.05.25. You can register until 26.02.25.

At the same time, you can enhance your vocabulary and grammar independently through the Altissia platform.

The language tandem is an ideal solution for learning a language and practicing it flexibly. The national e-Tandem electronic platform allows you to quickly find a learning partner. It brings together a large community from nine universities (HES-SO, BFH, UNIL, UNINE, UNIBE, EPFL, HEP VS, HEP BEJUNE, PH Bern).

The HES-SO Sustainability platform offers free online courses on sustainability. Whether you're a beginner or somewhat of an activist, these flashlearns provide a solid foundation to understand this topic.

HES-SO Master offers its students AI awareness courses available. The topics covered include:

• Types of AI and an overview of their current applications
• What is AI? Neural networks and machine learning
• AI and chatbots: principles, risks, and best practices
• Ethical and societal challenges of AI
• AI and chatbots: prompt engineering
• AI, truth, and democracy
• AI and environmental implications
• AI and chatbots: ethics and academic integrity

The Digital Skills Center at HES-SO has created short online courses for students. This initiative aims to better understand the themes and challenges related to "teaching in the digital age."

A first set of FlashLearns is available on the numerique.hes-so.ch platform. These provide clear and engaging access to topics such as:

• The role of students in the digital age,
• Proctoring,
• Conspiracy theories,
• Social media addiction, And many others...

Each FlashLearn offers short video resources and a quiz. Participants receive a certificate confirming their successful completion of the micro-learning course.

The HES-SO gives you access to the ENI e-learning training platform. You will find courses in various formats (videos, audio, PDFs) covering different fields such as Data, Cloud, Security, AI, Marketing, and Office tools. 

You can access it with your HES-SO account.

The Innokick Master's program offers access to select courses in marketing, finance, and design for the Spring 2025 semester, subject to registration and availability. These courses can be attended in person or asynchronously (recorded sessions). They are extracurricular and not graded.

HES-SO Master offers 5 online courses to help you acquire efficient study methods. These courses will be held on Thurdays from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM from 11.03 to 08.04.25.
