hes-so.chResearch and innovation Information scientifique – CISO Online resources

This gateway provides the HES-SO community with online resources such as specialized databases, academic journals and ebooks in the fields of education and research of the HES-SO. These resources are subscribed by all HES-SO schools or only by a few domains.


Most libraries offer complementary resources specific to their communities. For any information or questions, you can consult their websites and address them your questions or problems of access.

E-ressources trials

From 1 June to 31 July, the HES-SO is offering its students, teachers and researchers a trial access to Open Edition Freemium e-books and e-journals available for download. The Freemium offer gives access to 197 journals on the platform dedicated to newspapers, as well as more than 14'000 e-books from OpenEdition Books.

From June 15 to August 31, the HES-SO is offering its students, teachers and researchers a trial access to Tënk streaming video platform, which offers a selection of quality documentary films, mainly in the fields of Design and Visual Arts and Social Work.

Visible Body

Human anatomy atlas : interactive 3D models for nervous, skeletal, circulatory, muscular, digestive, urinary, lymphatic, endocrine, and reproductive systems.

A personal account is required. It allows to use the atlas on mobile devices. The personal account must be created on an authorized network and confirmed every 150 days by logging on to the same network.
